Our Mission

The Ohio Association of Public Treasurers was established to promote the general and professional interest of the public treasurers in their respective communities, to obtain a higher standard of efficiency, to improve service with allied institutions and to inspire friendly and fraternal relationships among its members.

Membership

Members of the Ohio APT enjoy many benefits that serve our respective municipal and professional responsibilities. New members are encouraged to participate in conferences, training, and other scheduled events throughout the course of the year.

Certifications

Many Ohio APT members are working toward their Certified Public Finance Administrator (CPFA) certification. We provide training and opportunities for advancement for our members.

Training Events

From our annual fall conference and seasonal “hot topic” seminars to an annual National Conference, our members have many ways to participate in training.

Fraternal Relationships

Membership in the Ohio APT creates relationships with other public treasurers – furthering friendships and shared experiences that enable us to perform at a higher level.
